The Dow Jones Composite Internet Index measures the performance of stocks in the U.S. equity markets that generate the majority of their revenues from the Internet. The Index is composed of two sub-groups: Internet Commerce - companies that derive the majority of their revenues from providing goods and/or services through an open network, such as a web site. Internet services - companies that derive the majority of their revenues from providing access to Internet or providing services to people using Internet. It is not possible to invest directly in an index.
